Position: Coordinator, Communications Events (Disney Entertainment) (Project Hire)

About: The Disney Entertainment Television (DET) Communications, Special Projects & Events team is looking for a Coordinator, Communications Events (Project Hire) to help support a wide variety of communications events. This department collaborates with internal partners across the DET portfolio of brands on the strategy and execution of events, offering expertise to reach new and existing audiences through earned media and social buzz.

Requirements: 2+ years of publicity or communications-related experience in a studio, network, agency, brand, or similar organization; Previous experience in fast-paced events environment; Excellent writing skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy; General awareness of industry trends and innate familiarity with social media, influencers and cultural zeitgeist; Ability to effectively and professionally interface with executives, teammates, talent, press and external contacts; Proficiency in standard office software including Zoom, Slack, Google Drive and Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Canva, Concur, Keynote, SAP a plus; Ability to maintain discretion with confidential and sensitive information; Demonstrates curiosity, business acumen, a strong interest in publicity and events
