Position: Cook – The Harpeth Hotel
About: The Harpeth Hotel, located in historic downtown Franklin, is seeking Cooks to join their team in providing quality meals for guests. The hotel offers 119 elegantly appointed guest rooms, event space, a bar, and a restaurant featuring southern cuisine. Cooks will have the opportunity to create innovative plates for the on-site restaurants and work flexible shifts.
Requirements: High school education or equivalent experience required; Culinary certificate or degree preferred; Six months – 1 year experience in a food/beverage services environment preferred; Strong knowledge of industrial-sized ovens and cooking ranges, various cuisines, and professional cooking practices; Experience with grill and sauté stations preferred; Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures; Ability to lift over 50lbs, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively in English
