Position: COOK – STROGER HOSPITAL
About: Cook County Health and Hospitals System is seeking a Cook for Stroger Hospital in Chicago. The Cook will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking food in large quantities for patient meals, cafeteria service, and special functions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate required; active State of Illinois or City of Chicago Foodservice Sanitation Certification required; two (2) years of full-time institutional cookery experience necessary. Must meet all required qualifications at the time of application filing.
