About: MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team at Mountain Shadows, a senior living community that values culture and transformative care for its residents. Requirements: High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write English; previous experience in a health care facility’s dietary department preferred; knowledge of food preparation in large quantities, special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times, and temperature controls; ability to estimate food quantities, reduce waste, and repurpose leftovers to serve appetizing meals
