Position: Cook/Pastry Chef – City Cruises – San Francisco / Berkeley
About: City Cruises, based in San Francisco, is seeking a Cook to join their team. The work primarily involves banquets with a diverse range of menus, catering from festive casual to California classic styles. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate various events and shifts on yachts and in the prep kitchen.
Requirements: At least 6 months of kitchen experience including prep work and line cooking; knowledge of health and sanitation codes; valid driver’s license is a plus; minimum age of 18 years; ability to communicate effectively in English; possession or ability to obtain a valid California Serve Safe certification, TWIC, and MMC; experience with Point of Service (POS) system; availability for day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts; flexibility with schedule requirements.
