Position: Cook – Nutritional Services – FT – Variable
About: Stormont Vail Health is looking for a dedicated Cook to prepare and cook family style meals for patients, visitors, and employees. This position will require adherence to all policies, standards, and training requirements of Stormont Vail Health while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of cooking/baking/food prep experience preferred; knowledge of safe food handling practices; ability to read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate with others; proficiency in basic math skills; ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with others; must be dependable, possess good personal hygiene habits, and maintain a neat and professional appearance
