Position: Cook – Metro
About: Taco Mac is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our culinary team! We are searching for friendly, energetic, highly-motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, setting up the cook’s station, maintaining product presentations, product quality, cook time standards, and preparing all menu items according to company recipes, plate presentations, and specifications. Duties of this position will include the setup of equipment, verification of stock, the cleaning of equipment, and preparing food items to specification while maintaining a clean work area. A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, be able to lift 25-70 pounds, use knives, slicing and other food preparation equipment while standing, and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 10 hours in length.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience as a Line Cook preferred; good communication skills; ability to lift 25-70 pounds; familiarity with food preparation equipment; ability to stand for long periods; mobility for up to 10 hours
