Position: Cook, Kitchen at Commons Club
About: The Cook will play an important role for preparing and presenting all food items as called for by the menu, and for assisting the Room Chef in the efficient operations of the kitchen. The Cook will be responsible to assist all stations and respective lines as necessary.
Requirements: Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds; You must have at least 1-2 years of savory line experience.; Great team player with the ability to create excellent working relationships across the group.; Ability to adapt to change in menus and concepts; Strong communication skills to all team members.; Knife skills are a must; Creativity and innovation are essential I; Product knowledge, yeah you have to actually know what you are talking about. If you don’t know it, you research it; Find solutions before problems arise.; You must know weights and measurements.
