About: Residence Inn is seeking a Cook to join their team and prepare food items according to recipes and standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. The growth path includes progression to Lead Cook, Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and Food and Beverage Director. The focus of the role involves following recipes, food preparation, baking, arranging and garnishing food, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring guest satisfaction, and adhering to safety and sustainability practices. The ideal candidate will possess a High School diploma, previous culinary experience or equivalent training, and may require a Department of Health Sanitation certificate. The work environment may include holidays, weekends, and variable shifts, with physical requirements such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending.
