Position: Cook job
About: Covenant Living, part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, is seeking a Cook responsible for food preparation for residents, ensuring high quality and sanitation standards are met in accordance with Covenant Living and regulatory requirements.
Requirements: High school education or equivalent; One year of food service experience in an institutional setting; Current state sanitation certificate; Ability to read, write, and speak in English effectively; Ability to perform math for recipe adjustments and measurements conversion; Understanding of standard food measurements and equivalents; Ability to work independently, follow tasks through to completion, and collaborate with various departments; Willingness to work with older adults; Must be of legal driving age and have a current driver’s license
