About: Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters – HOSP Food & Nutrition Services is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare food according to high standards and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times. This role involves various food preparation duties and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. The position reports to department leadership at the hospital.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; prior professional cooking experience; record of completion for all required education, licenses, training, and certifications at the time of hire; continuous maintenance of state licensure and certifications during employment; preferred: Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field, prior healthcare experience in a cook or chef capacity, one or more years of ordering and inventory experience in large quantities
