About: St. Luke’s Health–Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Our services range from heart care and neuroscience to robotic surgery. Our recently opened Family Birthing Center offers incomparable care and amenities in a spa-like environment to provide a VIP—Very Important Pregnancy—experience. Since 2008, our experienced doctors, nurses, and support staff have provided expert care to support our community. As a Cook, you will prepare food for our patients, staff, and visitors, following safe cooking techniques. You will take pride and have a passion for cooking for those who cannot cook for themselves. You understand that most guests at our facility dine with us for a reason and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about. To be successful as a Cook, you should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality. Requirements: Two (2) years Food Service experience; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience; A Food Handlers Permit is required as outlined below: Washington – All Counties
