About: The Star of Hope is a Christ-centered, community-funded, non-profit religious organization in Houston. They are currently seeking a Cook to join their team and be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals while maintaining high quality and excellent customer service standards.
Requirements: 1 year(s): Cooking Experience; High School Diploma or GED required; Food Service Certification preferred; 2 years in a general commercial kitchen position or equivalent combination of education and experience; Must pass a criminal background check; Valid Texas Driver’s License or government ID with acceptable driving record and current liability insurance; Knowledge and basic ability in Microsoft Office applications required.
