Position: Cook job

The role is based at the Akron Campus Behavioral Health Pavilion, performing various hospital food service duties related to preparation and cooking for patients and customers.
Requirements: Formal Education Required: Proven ability to read and write English, follow written and oral instructions, perform basic mathematical functions, and prioritize tasks. Experience and Training Required: One (1) year of cooking and food preparation experience. Other Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications: Ability to be active and on feet most of the day, lift, push, and pull medium weight objects; withstand hot and/or cold temperatures; prepare and assemble food; knowledge of and compliance with food handling regulations; provide necessary care for patients; interact effectively with diverse patient populations with respect and dignity. Level of Physical Demands: Medium physical exertion.
