Position: Cook job
About: 1324 Cedar Road, Chesapeake VA 23322 is seeking a Cook to prepare, present, store, and dispatch food products for various dining areas and events according to set standards and safety guidelines, maintaining a high level of quality and service.
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of cooking experience required; Working experience in the retirement home industry preferred; Demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls; Knowledge of serving food methods, sanitation principles, and safe food handling; Ability to lift up to 50lb; Effective communication skills; Highly flexible with solid interpersonal and teamwork skills; Computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, and email; Attention to detail; Superior time management and multitasking skills; Strong problem-solving and work ethic.
