Position: Cook job
About: The community is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents while considering their dietary needs. The Cook also supervises dietary staff in the absence of the Dining Services Director to ensure efficient kitchen operations at all times.
Requirements: Must have experience in dining services; Must be Serv-Safe certified, or willing to complete certification within 60 days of hire; Must have a basic understanding of food service operations and be able to read, write, and make simple calculations; Must be experienced in food preparation, cooking, and estimating quantities of food required; Knowledgeable of sanitation and safety principles in food handling; Must be able to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs regularly, work in various conditions, and work well in a team environment; Must maintain good personal hygiene, wear designated uniform, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
