Position: Cook job
About: The Cook position at Life Care involves preparing and serving quality meals for patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. The ideal candidate will ensure food and supplies for the next meal are readily available, serve meals and snacks in a timely manner, and exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent; one (1) year experience in food preparation preferred; experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities; ability to make independent decisions; knowledgeable of practices and procedures in post acute care facilities; proficient in patient rights, safety, and sanitation; uphold professional relationships and confidentiality; understand and follow company policies including compliance procedures; display integrity and professionalism by adhering to company’s Code of Conduct and completing mandatory compliance training
