Position: Cook job
About: The Cook is responsible for food preparation in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, with established policies and procedures of the dining facility. The Cook ensures quality food service is provided at all times under the direction of the Dietitian and/or Director of Food Services.
Requirements: One (1) year dietary/food experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred; State Food Service Sanitation certification required; ability to read, speak and write English; independent, flexible, with personal integrity to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
