Position: Cook job
About: The Cook prepares hot and cold food for patients, cafeteria, and catering at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. They serve and prepare food on the cafeteria line.
Requirements: Education: High school graduate or equivalent; Experience: 1 to 3 years cooking experience in an institutional or healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital setting with special or modified diet preparation experience; Skills & Abilities: Possess a thorough understanding of all kitchen equipment, its use, safety measures, and maintenance. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and adhere to the use of standardized recipes.
