Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; Able to read and write English; Possesses basic math skills. Two to Three years of food production experience in an institutional setting preferred. Working Conditions: Works in the kitchen or other areas under generally comfortable conditions with some exposure to excessive temperatures and noise. Exposure to hazards such as burns from hot foods or chemicals used in cleaning. Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform math calculations, walk and stand for long periods, lift and push up to 50 lbs, concentrate on detail, and communicate effectively with staff, department personnel, and patients.
