Requirements: Serv Safe Certification required; working knowledge of health and safety regulations in food preparation; knowledge of cooking times and temperatures according to state guidelines; knowledge of various cuts of meat and seasonings; ability to read, write, and speak English; experienced in dealing with seniors and their dietary needs; physically able to bend, reach, push, pull, lift up to 40-50 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time; ability to work in a hot/humid environment for extended periods; may be subject to burns, cuts, and falls on slippery floors if caution is not used when working; can determine food quality and palatability through taste and smell
