The Cook position at Sunrise of Wilton involves utilizing knowledge and experience in food production to ensure proper, timely, and safe food preparation and service according to established recipes and food safety standards, maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements: One (1) year job-related experience in food preparation in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment; High School Diploma/GED; CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate; ServSafe® Manager Certificate; Local Health Department Food Handler Card; Prior culinary apprenticeship or training a plus; Written and verbal communication skills; Strong organizational and time management abilities; Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
