Position: Cook job
About: Emerald Care Center Southwest, located at 5600 S Walker Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109, is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen department. As a Cook in our skilled nursing facility, you will contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents by preparing nutritious and delicious meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment in a clinical healthcare setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification or degree in a relevant field preferred; proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting; experience with special diets and dietary restrictions is a plus; ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices; ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately; excellent organizational and time-management skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents and staff.
