About: The Cook position at Life Care involves preparing and serving quality meals for patients in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company standards.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent; One (1) year experience in food preparation preferred; Experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities; Make independent decisions when necessary; Knowledgeable of relevant practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines; Implement and interpret department programs and procedures; Proficient in patient rights, safety, and sanitation; Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors; Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; Follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures; Display integrity and professionalism following company’s Code of Conduct
