Position: Cook job
About: The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, is seeking a Cook to join their team. The Cook will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritional meals and snacks in a safe and presentable manner, maintaining kitchen facilities, and ensuring food is prepared efficiently and economically. This position requires adherence to health regulations and Salvation Army policies.
Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and one year of experience planning and cooking meals for large groups of people; knowledge, skills, and abilities to clean, store, and prepare food in accordance with regulations and policies; ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in reading manuals and written instructions; organizational skills to maintain files.
