About: Sunrise Senior Living, a certified Great Place to Work by Activated Insights, is currently seeking a dedicated Cook for Sunrise of Palos Park. The Cook will utilize their expertise in food production to ensure the safe and timely preparation of food while maintaining high standards of quality and adhering to all safety regulations and sanitation requirements.
Requirements: One (1) year job-related experience in food preparation; High School Diploma/GED; CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, ServSafe Manager Certificate, Local Health Department Food Handler Card; Prior culinary apprenticeship or training a plus; Written and verbal communication skills; Strong organizational and time management abilities; Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
