About: Sunrise Senior Living at Flossmoor is seeking a dedicated Cook to ensure the proper preparation and service of food in accordance with established recipes, maintaining high standards of taste and quality while upholding food safety requirements in a safe and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; at least 1 year of related experience in food preparation; CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, ServSafe Manager Certificate, and Local Health Department Food Handler Card required; prior culinary apprenticeship or training is a plus; strong written and verbal communication skills; good organizational and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities effectively.
