Position: Cook III
About: The Biltmore Hotel is looking for a dedicated Cook III to join their team. The Cook III will be responsible for preparing menu items for all Biltmore Hotel Banquet Events and a la carte items for the restaurant. This role requires adherence to high-quality food standards, excellent presentation, and quick food production for an exceptional dining experience. The Cook III must follow standard operating procedures and work under supervision.
Requirements: Education; A High School Diploma is required. Experience; Minimum of one to two years’ experience as a Cook in a hotel or restaurant with similar styles and standards. Skills Required; Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. Compute accurate mathematical calculations. Provide legible communication and directions. Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Prioritize and organize. Maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision. Possess computer skills and adapt to a dynamic environment. Physical Demands; Must be able to lift objects, stand for extended periods, reach overhead, communicate effectively, and adapt to indoor work tasks. Success Criteria; Display team player mentality, focus on guest satisfaction, deliver high-quality work, remain composed under pressure, demonstrate trustworthiness, manage time efficiently, and practice active listening.
