Position: Cook II – In-Room Dining (Full Time)
About: Plan, prep, set up, and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in accordance with standards and specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventories, plating up banquet hot meals, following maintenance programs, performing duties in various kitchen areas, working at off-premise functions, researching new menu items, attending meetings, and contributing to continuous operational improvement to provide an exceptional guest experience at Terranea.
Requirements: 3-4 years’ experience as a Line Cook at a quality-style Hotel or Restaurant; Food handling certificate; Ability to work all stations on the line, fluency in English, ability to compute basic arithmetic, provide legible communication, comprehend and follow recipes, prioritize and organize tasks, work cohesively in a team, exert physical effort in transporting 50 pounds, adapt to various physical movements throughout work areas, satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and coworkers
