Position: Cook I, II – The Pathway Home
About: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking to hire Cook I and II positions responsible for kitchen operations, meal preparation, menu planning, inventory management, and staff training. The roles involve enforcing food safety guidelines and sanitation practices. Progression to Cook II is based on handling more responsible assignments independently.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; current Food Service Worker’s permit. Additional qualifications for Cook II: Associate degree in Culinary Arts or three years of experience in a commercial setting; one year of large-scale food preparation experience; First Aid/CPR certification within six months of hire date.
