Position: Cook I
About: This position is for a Cook in a school, hospital, or other institution setting. The incumbent will prepare and cook food in large-scale quantities according to menus and number of persons to be served, ensuring quality and adherence to recipes. They will also evaluate food for quality, quantity, appearance, and taste, and perform related cooking duties as required for efficient food service in institutional environments.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in quantity cooking preferred; knowledge of food preparation techniques and ability to adjust recipes for large quantities; ability to evaluate food quality and taste; proficient in using kitchen equipment; knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
