Position: COOK I
About: This role is in the Food and Nutrition department at UH, responsible for preparing and serving a variety of food items for the cafeteria, patient tray line, and special events. The position involves functioning as a grill cook and in cold food areas while ensuring adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. There is no patient care assignment involved in this role.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1/2 year (6 months) directly related experience preferred; ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently; moderate exposure to chemicals, dangerous equipment, and materials
