Position: COOK I
About: This position is for a kitchen staff member responsible for preparing meals, setting up lines, garnishing food items according to Army recipes/SOPs, and performing housekeeping duties in a military dining facility. The role involves operating, maintaining, and cleaning kitchen equipment following specific guidelines and regulations such as AR 30-22, DA Pamphlet 30-22, TM 4-41-11, TB Med 530, TM 10-412, and PWS.
Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; Must be free of medical restrictions or limitations that prevent performing the required duties; Must be physically capable of working in extreme weather conditions; Must use proper lifting procedures; May need to work uncommon hours, weekends, and holidays; Must be able to bend, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate cleaning equipment; Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift
