About: The Kentucky School for the Blind (KSB) is a renowned educational institution with a mission to empower students who are blind and visually impaired to command their future. With nearly 180 years of service, KSB provides comprehensive educational services to all Kentucky students who are visually impaired or blind, from birth to 21 years old. The school is dedicated to helping students develop their talents, skills, and attitudes to become confident, competent, and independent adults. Currently, KSB has a vacant Cook I position in the Food Service Section.
Requirements: Education: None; Experience, Training, or Skills: One year of cooking experience in an institutional or large-scale commercial setting; Substitute Education for Experience: Vocational training in food service will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis; Substitute Experience for Education: None; Special Requirements (Age, Licensure, Regulation, etc.): None
