Position: Cook I
About: Cook I position at DDC – Glendale, AZ. This role involves preparing food for enterprise guests, including butchery, stock preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas for all Food & Beverage venues.
Requirements: High school degree or GED preferred; 2 years of recent experience as a cook or equivalent combination of recent experience and education; Must be at least 18 years of age or older; No felony, theft or stealing convictions; Knowledge of kitchen equipment, safe practices, basic butchery techniques, and sauce making; Ability to obtain a Food Handlers card and TIPS certification; Ability to communicate clearly in basic English and perform outstanding guest service; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a professional appearance, and coordinate tasks with co-workers; Knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary methods; Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
