Position: Cook I
About: Georgia State University is a vibrant community in the heart of Atlanta. The PantherDining Hall at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Cook I. The Cook I prepares and follows daily prep sheets and recipes according to Chef and FoodPro.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 1 year experience working in institutional quality cooking. Technical training in commercial food service (CFS) or child nutrition preferred. Physical Requirements: Extended standing, walking, ability to bend, stoop, reach and climb ladders; Ability to lift 35 pounds; Ability to work in all temperature conditions; Flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
