Position: Cook Grand Wok – MGM Grand
About: Grand Wok is seeking a passionate cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a cook, you’ll apply your expertise in culinary techniques to craft exceptional dishes, utilize kitchen equipment safely, and maintain high standards of sanitation. By understanding and catering to each guest’s unique preferences and stories, you will ensure that every meal is memorable, crafting WOW moments that will linger long after their stay.
Requirements: Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays; Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills with a solid background in food preparation and kitchen operations; Prior expertise in Asian cuisine including wok cooking experience; Proficient in using kitchen equipment, managing inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards; Ability to speak Chinese, Cantonese or Mandarin highly preferred; Familiarity with the dynamics of working in a resort or casino environment, adept at managing high-energy guest interactions
