Position: Cook (Full-Time) – Highview in the Woodlands Campus
About: Cook position available at Wesley Willows, a senior living community located in Rockton, IL. This role is within the Dining Services department and offers a pay rate of $16.50 – $18.50 per hour for a full-time, non-exempt position at Highview in the Woodlands Campus. The Cook will perform routine food service tasks under general supervision, adhering to sanitary regulations and company policies.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent; Active ServeSafe Certification required; Two years of food service experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred; Institutional cooking experience and fine dining background preferred; Must be 18 years of age for operating hazardous equipment; Polite and friendly customer service approach; Neat and clean appearance with adherence to sanitary food service rules; Ability to work quickly and efficiently; Willingness to work evenings and weekends; Ability to read and follow instructions
