Requirements: High School diploma or equivalency required; successful completion of sanitation course and certification test within the first six months of employment; minimum one-year’s food service experience in a commercial/health care facility; knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and sanitation practices; ability to read, follow, and interpret basic instructions; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, and standing; routine exposure to varied environmental conditions; may require on-call responsibilities
