Position: Cook – Full time
About: Accurately and efficiently prepares, portions, cooks, and presents a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods at a healthcare facility. The responsibilities include following established recipes, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to achieving department goals and objectives. The position may involve preparing meals for customers with special dietary needs and participating in training programs as required.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred; 6 months cooking experience or completion of approved culinary certification training program required; basic verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor; knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen equipment use; familiarity with basic math and computer skills
