About: Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Cook to ensure high-quality food service for patients, staff, and visitors following set standards. This role involves hot and cold food production, adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, and collaboration with the culinary team to maintain service excellence and support the hospital’s mission.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; one year of food service/cooking experience; valid Food Handlers Permit issued by the Texas Department of State Health Services or ANSI; proficiency in English; knowledge of Serve Safe guidelines, kitchen equipment, and sanitation principles; basic understanding of buffet receptions and volume batch cooking
