About: Prepares and produces food for patient and guest meals, following standardized recipes, daily production charts, and instructions. Ensures food quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness. Pays attention to HACCP procedures. Utilizes standard food preparation equipment and utensils. Salary range for the position is $16.00 – $18.30 per hour based on experience.
Requirements: High school diploma, Certificate of attendance, GED, or experience; Knowledge of principles of sanitation and safety in food handling and equipment; Ability to communicate effectively in English; 1 year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred; Food Safety Certification required within 90 days of hire; Minimum 2 years of experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
