Position: Cook Associate
About: Assist the taquería leader in preparing authentic Mexican dishes, maintaining a presentable and well-decorated line, preparing sauces, fresh waters, fruit cocktails, and handmade corn tortillas, implementing cleaning and sanitizing guidelines, ensuring customer satisfaction, and keeping the taquería area clean and organized. The role requires flexibility in working hours, cleanliness, and reporting any equipment issues or hazards to management.
Requirements: Ability to prepare authentic Mexican dishes; positive attitude and teamwork; ability to work in a clean and organized manner; ability to follow instructions and multitask; initiative to learn authentic Mexican dish preparation (desirable); basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division); visual, manual coordination, and precision hand skills; 1-year experience in taquería, restaurant, or kitchen; knowledge of weight and volume measurements; conversational Spanish; high school graduation or GED (desirable). Health certification for food handling is a plus.
