Position: Cook Assistant- Emanuel
About: The Cook Assistant role involves various functions in the production, service, and sanitation areas of Food and Nutrition Services, supporting cooks in preparing food items and fulfilling simple preparation tasks. The position may also involve acting as a short-order Grill Cook, with a designated time for hot food production during shifts.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience or education in quantity food preparation and working with computers; ability to read, write, and communicate in English, perform simple mathematical calculations, provide excellent customer service, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with hot food production equipment like Cleveland convection steamer, Electric Meat Slicer, Deep Fat Fryer, and others; ability to follow recipes and production sheets.
