Requirements: Must be able to interpret Resident Diet Cards; Must have ServSafe Certification; Must be eligible for hire based on the IDPH Healthcare Worker Registry; Must be capable of following written and oral instructions concerning dietary methods and food preparation; Familiar with seasonings, cooking times, and sanitation requirements; Strong organizational skills; Professional and personable, flexible with a go-with-the-flow attitude; Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding of older adults and their families; Desire to grow and learn new techniques and skills
