Position: Conventions Sales Manager
About: ASM Global, an event management company, is seeking a Senior Convention Sales Manager to drive economic growth in El Paso by marketing and selling the city as a premier destination for meetings, conventions, and events. This role involves collaborating with meeting planners, event coordinators, and organization leaders to attract various events to the area.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in convention sales management and hospitality industry preferred; strong sales team leadership and presentation skills; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; valid driver’s license required; willingness to travel 75% of the time, including out of state and intra state travel; effective communication skills, both oral and written
