Position: CONVENTION PORTER – MEETING SERVICES (ON-CALL)
About: The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a Convention Porter to set up and break down all convention areas at the Venetian Congress Center, adhering to company policies and safety standards.
Requirements: 18 years of age; proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States; high school Diploma or equivalent; must be able to obtain and maintain a SNHD Health Card and any other certification or license; at least one to three months or equivalent job experience; must be able to follow directions with minimal supervision; must be able to stack and set up tables and chairs and other related equipment used in the meeting rooms; ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience; must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
