Position: Consultant – Vertical Transportation
About: Lerch Bates is a global multidisciplinary technical consultancy specializing in vertical transportation, logistics, enclosures & structures, forensics, and building lifecycle services. They work on designing, modernizing, investigating, and managing buildings to ensure functionality, safety, and value work together at every phase of the building lifecycle.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (preferred); 3-5 years of experience required; elevator industry experience strongly preferred; strong knowledge of the industry; expert knowledge in elevators, escalators, moving walkways, building design, specifications, and analysis; knowledge and adherence to applicable industry ASME codes, standards, and safety rules; strong project management skills; excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills; strong negotiation, deductive reasoning, critical thinking skills; ability to work in a fast-paced team environment; ability to travel regionally; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Acrobat, PowerPoint, CAD/Drawing review software; QEI/CEI certification strongly preferred
