Position: Conference Event Coordinator and Property Steward
About: The Minnesota Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is seeking a full-time Conference Event Coordinator and Property Steward to collaborate with conference leaders in planning events and caring for properties. This position involves coordinating conference-wide events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person) and providing administrative support for conference-owned or leased properties, while being rooted in Jesus and Wesleyan theology.
Requirements: An Associates Degree is required; a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment is required; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); administrative skills including budgeting, research, project management, and basic technological competency; proven ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate contracts, and meet deadlines; ability to work independently and collaboratively; detail-oriented and organized with initiative; highly motivated problem solver; strict confidentiality maintenance; knowledge of The United Methodist Church structure and polity desired; ability to lift and move items up to 30 pounds.
