Position: Conference Event Coordinator and Property Steward

About: The Minnesota Conference of The United Methodist Church is seeking a mission-focused individual for the role of Conference Event Coordinator and Property Steward. This full-time hybrid position involves coordinating conference-wide events (virtual, hybrid, and in-person) and providing administrative support for properties owned or leased by the Minnesota Conference, rooted in Jesus and committed to inclusion, justice, and reconciliation.

Requirements: An Associates Degree is required; a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment is required; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); administrative skills including budgeting, research, project management, and basic technological competency; proven ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate contracts, and meet deadlines; ability to work independently and collaboratively; detail-oriented, organized, and takes initiative; highly motivated with problem-solving skills; must maintain strict confidentiality; knowledge of the structure and polity of The United Methodist Church is desirable; able to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
